“leftist leftist leftist” ~brainrotted mcmurican

reddit has rapidly become somewhere you go for need, not for want
ie: a particular linux sub, only as needed.
Ideally the subs you follow there, will appear here in time, but the problem with that is that the people will follow, and this (to a degree) will become that.
You just have to deal with unhinged, misinformed, and extreme takes all the time.

If you don’t curate your own feed, the feed curates you, and then someone, somewhere, is going to have to clean that mess up sometime.
Did you look at the all feed on reddit? If so there is no help for you anywhere, you make your own choices.
If I could block the usa on here, would I still see posts from people crying about left, leftist, leftism? Awfully ironic from a country where 1% of the people even vote left, let alone know what it is.

12·2 days agoFair enough, there was a chance you were from the usa and claiming to be a leftist, I was going to laugh at you.
Good work on the shaving!

Which country do you consider yourself a leftist in?
Reviews are a thing of the past due to manipulation, and now ai as well. Google reviews have been trash for a long time. It really is a pity, there was a time when you could do an internet search for ‘best’ and get decent results, long time ago now though, before all of the amazon links.

Humans are why we cannot have nice things. The internet was always going to get ridiculous, just like the usa was always going to prove back to the future right in the stupidest possible way.

I’m not sure of anything, I would look into it further were I planning on using it, which I might do in the future, Garuda KDE lite looks like a decent distro.
From the little I have looked into it, it is all meant to be checked, adding an extra layer of protection, as long as your trust the people behind it (much like official I guess)

Chaotic aur might be worth looking into if aur is what you want. Everything there is theoretically checked.

What other reasons can be given for post deletion? Lemmy isn’t worse off due to that post no longer being here.
The graph is surprising, I expected the opposite, due to reddit becoming more and more reddity every day, along with the current political/social climate in multiple countries. It seems a good time for people to want something different.
