Shit libs terrified of giving up their privilege is what prevents third parties from getting any traction. You know that the status quo founded on white supremacy and capitalism provides you a certain level of comfort that you don’t want to give up and your creature comforts are more important than society as a whole. Liberalism is a poison to all movements

…what do you actually think can happen? A revolution and implementation of a new system from the ground up? Please do explain, how do you think that’ll get accomplished?

Go outside for a bit, maybe get offline for a while.

Hows that incrementalism working out for you? Your party has convinced you a slow process results in progress. The only difference over the last 50 years is democrats have become the things 1980s democrats hated

Approval ratings for both right wing parties are at historical lows, so it appears to be going pretty well.

How do low approval ratings translate to revolution? I could equally claim those ratings for incrementalism, proof that the progressive voice has become more empowered.

Incrementalism has turned Jimmy Carter Democrats into first term Trump Republicans. Does that sound like progressive voices are more empowered? They are not only silenced, they are ignored

I don’t know, man. So-called “Tea Party” Republicans have effectively taken over the GOP. You flip enough seats in Congress, and you’ll create a new majority. As long as it starts with the people…you can change the system.

Tea Party? Where we are right now started with the John Birch Society in 1958. The only outcome of trying to work within the system is a constant shift to the right
