Wait how do the rats get into the sewer pipes?
Like this is something that’s bothered me about TMNT for a while.
I get that sewers are all interconnected and drain down to the treatment center. So it’s like…mostly sealed then, right?
They aren’t coming all the way up from the treatment center. I doubt they are flushing themselves in like it’s the ministry of magic.
Do they combine storm drains and sewage??
From the roof. Air vents are part of the sewer system in homes and will be exposed at the roof. Many times they aren’t protected in any way. I’ve had to fab some wire on mine since ground squirrels would occasionally wander into one and pop out of a toilet or shower drain.
