But I’d suggest this is not a good context to challenge that choice of word, because it kind of muddies the waters of what is being discussed. Like, are you trying to say that the neighbours actually didn’t do a good thing, and then make a comment about socialism based on that? Probably that’s not what you mean; but like I said, it muddies the waters.
