I live in CA, and that FSC test is a joke, nevermind that many shops have the answer to the test on signs behind the counter. Even then, I’d still say hands on training, like say an 8 hour class, would be more beneficial.
Many states already do this. California makes you take a multiple-choice exam, for example.
