I was with you until “until.” Abolish ICE.

Though that may be the most incremental progress Bernie expects to be possible.

I’m going to live a fantasy land where the gop do oust those two, and then sanders says, note still no funding, abolish ice!

And ban every field agent from ever working for the government or local law enforcement in the future. No renaming and keeping most of the staff. No shuttling them off to be brown shirts elsewhere. They’re all tainted.

Unfortunate headline. It seems to imply that Sanders would fund ICE if Noem and Miller were gone, but as we can see by reading the article, that alone would not be enough.

I’m glad Sanders is no pushover.

Chuck Schumer, on the other hand, says “Let’s start with tacitly supporting ICE and move right as we negotiate.”

It doesn’t matter what any of them say. What matters is what they’ve been doing, as a unit, and will do, as a unit.

This is true, but who the Democrats select as their leader is a good indicator of what they, as a unit, will do.

PeeWee Himmler is behind most of this administrations worst policies, including the family separation abomination in the first term.

He is about the most repellant human on the planet, and the Dems should make him a primary focus of the Midterm campaign for EVERY candidate. Talk about him a lot, the way MAGAs have always looped in Pelosi or AOC or Omar into their propaganda.

Tie PeeWee Himmler directly to Trump, and demonize him to Hell, where he belongs. Make the little pussy cry.

Remember when Congress took all the funding away from NPR that was already budgeted to them? Why is no one talking about rescinding funding for ICE?
