An example we’ve all seen is a normal generous family member who suddenly turns into a rabid racist maga supporter. You could start the colony with 1000 bernie bros and the result would be the same, just maybe take 1000 years instead of 300 years.
Those assholes dont pop out of no where. Material conditions form them when they perceive their conditions are threatened. If your utopia is a utopia everyone’s needs will be met and these people will never exist in the first place.
A utopia would obviously have a way to handle conflict resolution peacefully. I’d imagine the citizenry also would not have the means to start wars over lost love interests.

In my opinion you can’t meet everyones needs. The moment a desired person chooses a different romantic partner, you’ve got grounds to start wars.
