Charlie Kirk is such a fucking no body, I genuinely think for most people out of the US, the first and last time they ever heard of him was watching him get shot.
MAGA doesn’t do martyrs good. They’re all Socio/Psychopaths, so they don’t care about anyone but themselves, and they just don’t have it in them to keep a person’s memory alive long enough to become a real martyr. Once their usefulness to spark the initial outrage passes, they’re forgotten.
MAGA exists today because of decades of groundwork laid by Rush Limbaugh. When was the last time you heard any MAGA mention his name? Has anyone suggested a memorial, or a documentary, or some other method of memorializing him?
Donvict gave him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2020.
But yeah, the typical reprogrammable meatbot - especially if they are younger - likely has little idea of most of their thought leaders, including Rush, who was the de facto leader of the conservatives and the Republican Party for decades.
I bet most liberals know more about the conservative thought leaders than the average conservative does, if we are to be honest.
I remember that, he did it at his State of the Union Address, and Rush cried, and looked like Holy Hell, and he died soon after, which was nice.
And yeah, Libs understand Conservativism far better than most Conservatives, that’s why they’re Libs. It’s like Atheists generally know the Bible much better than most Christians.
The other thing is that libs tend to accumulate and use their memory. The Professional Left calls it a “liberal superpower”.
It’s pretty amazing to see when you see it employed by someone like Chomsky, who has seen a lot, and seems to have incorporated things he learned from people older than him, as well. That superpower seems to compound with age, at least with some people.
This is one of many reasons I think it’s rather silly when I see what seems to be a purposeful and planted psyop to demand that politicians retire at 65. That just seems really dumb.

No loss, the world keeps spinning.

Nah, he’s dead, moving on…
