Wasn’t he really weird when it came to describing a genocide as a genocide because the numbers where a bit low. I always found him to be a very odd person.

The"hype" around him is about the fact (yes it’s a fact) that he made generational contributions to the field of linguistics (probably decades before he met Epstein) and a lot of people like his book “Manufacturing Consent”.
He is the epitome of “Murica bad”. Every opponent of America has to be incapable of evil (Serbians would never commit a genocide) while it’s allies are evil personified.
