    Hey, Brisbane gets a surprisingly lengthy aside dedicated to it on the first episode of Jason Slaughter’s Nebula Original! That’s exciting lol.

    Not the best of shout-outs. To be fair…yeah Jason, we know. It’s a fucking dumb name. The joke is that the “Metro” buses are designed to look like trams. One reporter suggested it should have been called BERT, for Brisbane Electric Rapid Transport. BERTie buses would be cute!

    Anyway, even as BRT, it’s a little lacklustre. Ticketing happens on-board instead of on the platform, so slow waiting for people to tap on at every stop. And they gave up on their original promise of level boarding, too. But hey, at least Brisbane has ferries that are also part of the regular network.

    But anyway, this was kinda fun. Not something I enjoy for the same reason I enjoy (most) NJB, but from the trailer & advertising I wasn’t expecting that. It’s just a kinda vibey good time.
