Many religions don’t believe in Hell, even some Christian sects, so your ignorance is rather pathetic on this very topic itself, let alone the broader topic of religion as a whole.
I actually upvoted your initial comment cos I thought it was mildly amusing. But uhh, it’s hard to say it was a case where you “respond with as much thought as [you] receive”. It’s a short low-effort quip, in response to an hour-long in-depth video essay.
I don’t care what people believe, and I attempted to point out that the existence of hell was irrelevant to this discussion.
The original question could just as easily have been “are they still assholes?” But the word “hell” got introduced and suddenly the “I’m atheist/I use arch linux/I’m vegan/I run marathons” crowd felt the need to tell the rest if the world about their irrelevant personal position.
How do you know that there’s a vegan, atheist, and/or marathon runner in the room? Don’t worry, they’ll tell you
