IN 16 pages, the Trump administration’s new official counterterrorism strategy outlines in broad terms who it views as terrorist threats and priority targets, ranging from anti-fascist activists to ISIS and so-called narco-terrorists. The line “We will find you, and we will kill you” appears in the memo.

Trump is picking a very interesting time to want to sick the military and his Gestapo on the US population, given how bogged down the military is in Iran and how desperately he wants to esculate it into a full blown ground invasion.

His German idol also made the mistake of declaring infinite wars too. Let’s see how this strategy plays out for him and the rest of MAGA. Especially when the US military is already extremely demoralized, unlike the German military was.

Don’t forget, Drumpf is the lifetime appointee to the Board of Peace, which has multiple countries donating billions of dollars and tens of thousands of troops to its agenda.

Pedonald is just bringing America to its knees, so when he leaves, America won’t be a threat to him and his autocratic/aristocratic allies.

I wouldn’t say the military is bogged down in Iran. It is an intractable mess that will kill millions with fuel shortages, but personnel-wise it’s a very light conflict for the US. I would say that it is an active choice to embrace the downfall of the global economic system in favor of the bourgeoisie stealing one last payout from the working class, though.

Text of the First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

It has always bothered me that the First Amendment says nothing about the Executive Branch doing these things (such as via Executive Order), only Congress.

Well, the Founders naively assumed that the official with the responsibility of executing the laws would also have to follow them. Somehow, our Originalist Supreme Court didn’t get the memo .

It doesn’t say anything about that because the president doesn’t have the power to make laws, only Congress has that power.

SCOTUS: What the founders really mean by this was only Republicans are allowed to. No one else. They didn’t write it down because it was just obvious at the time.

They practically have already, without using the word ‘Democrat’. Read the EO from Sept 2025 where anyone who isn’t pro-Capitalism, pro-Christian, pro-nuclear family, pro-Fascist, and pro-American hegemony was declared an enemy of the State.

No really, read it and ask yourself who it describes and why. I know I recognized more than enough to know where I stand when I read it.

Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.

re-reading [support for the overthrow of the United States Government]… that could totally be used to prosecute the 2026 and 2028 Big Lie deniers… including those who intend to certify the election.

Poorly written laws ( and executive orders, etc. ) are a feature not a bug.

If it’s open to interpretation, it can be changed to suit their needs in the moment

No, it’s obvious that they define extremism here to mean „the left wants to support gender identity, immigrants,… and that’s bad“ but one can also easily read it as „the right fights against these things and that’s bad is bad“.

I don’t think that’s what they wanted. Unless they want a reason to also fight their own if needed to keep them in line. But there are usually even easier reasons…

There’s no reason to expect this to be interpreted with an accurate description of “left” and “right”.

My point isn’t to say that this will be used to accurately target right wing extremists, but to say that this will be used against anyone oppositional to the state regardless of specific ideology or alignment

I’m not scared, not even a little bit. Some pedophile traitor’s words hold little bearing on me. I’m someone who has actually given something to this country. I’ll not be intimidated by a fat fucking garbage billionaire scum fuck.

Every government says this kind of thing after attacks, but it’s always unsettling how quickly language meant for “counterterrorism” starts sounding limitless once fear and politics get mixed together.
