How is the average higher than all regions except NA? I’d expect the average to be driven by Asia, and that the half billion or so people from NA would not drag the average higher, rather multiple billions from elsewhere would would keep it lower.
Are there numbers that are included in the average that are not otherwise represented? Or are Americans making many times more trips than others?
Interesting, but this isn’t a great comparison if you take population density into account.
I think it’s pretty close because most people in the US live in densely populated areas. It certainly does not explain the discrepancy.
