Damning new data from inside the Pentagon suggests that U.S. forces are currently expending more resources defending Israel from missile strikes than Israeli forces themselves…
Three officials with knowledge of Defense Department assessments told The Washington Post on Thursday that the lopsided effort “underscores the extent to which Washington has shouldered the burden of countering Iranian ballistic missile strikes during Operation Epic Fury.”
U.S. forces, according to those assessments, have used up to half their total inventory of certain high-altitude interceptor systems, while Israel has deployed its own at a slower rate…
The situation has apparently sparked alarm among American allies in Asia, particularly South Korea and Japan, which depend on U.S. anti-missile defense systems to deter attacks from hostile states such as China and North Korea.
Hostile states, who haven’t bothered anyone. Just like Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Syria…

China didn’t invade vietnam in the 1970s, the US did. This is the easiest history question how did you get it wrong.
As far as the rest of your misinterpretation of history based on a radiofreeasia fantasy George HW Bush himself would be jealous he couldn’t come up with in his time at the CIA; Taiwan is literally the imperial government China rebelled against. They lost the war. They are not a separate country, and no country on earth suggests they are a separate country, they are just the last holdouts from a fascist government. They didn’t even have elections until the 1990s, and that was because the US threatened to stop economically supporting them. Vietnam isn’t hostile to China or vice versa, in fact they have a railway planned to increase overland trade. Yes some Vietnamese vessels I’m sure have violated China’s sovereignty. And like the US with boats from Mexico, they have been interdicted under international law.
Same with the fascists in the Philipines who were capturing Chinese fishing vessels under the Duterte regime and killing Chinese citizens summarily for their ‘war on drugs.’ Recent interdictions have been philipino vessels in Chinese waters or coming too close to chinese vessels. Given the very recent history from the regime of the internationally recognized terrorist regime Duterte, you can understand why they don’t fuck around, right?
This is confidently incorrect. China absolutely invaded and attacked Vietnam in the 70s, specifically starting in 1979. You also got the incorrect decade for US invasion of Vietnam.
I’ll assume you’ve already taken to heart that the PRC invaded the PRV in 1979, as part of the Sink-Soviet split to punish Soviet allies in East Asia after Glasnost (this part of history is quite complicated, so it’s OK that you got it wrong, we should all be learning all the time).
Taiwan, or the RoC if you prefer (since that’s the name that some countries continue to recognise it as a nation under) , was indeed fascist (and certainly totalitarian) under Qiang Kai Shek, especially post retreat to Taiwan, (although not Imperial - the Imperial of China ended in 1911, and could only arguably be said to start again in 1959). However, with Lee Tung Hui’s reforms and the end of dictatorship that changed, opening up the country, ending the death squads and brining about an opening up and freer press. And to preempt your criticism of the wave of 本生人 having been US educated, where would you expect them to have gone? The PRC? Or a nation trying to build ties with it? Japan and the PRC were pretty friendly at the time, so that would’ve been out too.
And since you notice that Vietnam, Philippines are indeed not a threat to the PRC, maybe you should reevaluate what I mean by: “Taiwan, Philippines, and Vietnam are about as much of a threat to the PRC as Palestine is to Israel.” (with its iron dome, vastly superior firepower, and being on an entirely different scale of military capabilities, although to be fair to Vietnam, they did beat both the US and PRC in a war.)
You really should STFU.
