Government is the legislative arm of capitalism, a tool used by capitalists to enable everything they want. Government social programs under capitalism are still exploitive. The Nordic model is still exploitive of the global south. They pay for those social programs.

i have started thinking that capitalism can only work on machines, not on humans, because it requires that value is always measurable and for many biological systems, there’s a lot of internal (hidden) variables that you can’t easily measure.

like when you do childcare. you can measure the hours, but you can’t measure the quality of the interaction. therefore you cannot meaningfully assign value. therefore it cannot meaningfully be exchanged for money.
