At least they switched to using tidal water instead of potable drinking water. Funnily enough, that project happened during the Obama administration and probably is a factor of why they’ve had problems with algae, so like, technically Trump isn’t wrong. What he’s leaving out though is that painting the pool blue almost assuredly made the algae problem worse.
According to data found online about controlling alge in pools with H2O2, they’d need 1800 gallons of H2O2 to treat the reflecting pool.
