As they should, centrist Democrats approved the current fascist administration before they finally started pumping the brakes a little, now and then. Still not nearly enough. There should be weekly impeachment bills with the list of charges growing until they can’t all collectively ignore them.

As someone who is well-read on history, it’s fascinating watching the two party system fail to such a spectacular degree that people called ‘Socialists’ are becoming electable. It’s heartening to see Mamdani taking the time to lower the ladder behind him and help up socialists up.

Someone made the observation that joining the US military comes with socialist benefits, like free housing, free meals, free healthcare and free education. Socialism by their definition.

He knows that he’ll just be an isolated curiosity if he doesn’t.

I don’t care what we call socialists to make them more palatable to the masses, just so long as they keep winning.

I’m very fond of the term ‘workplace democracy’ as a replacement that hasn’t been as propaganda-poisoned as ‘socialism’.

That’s because “centrist” doesn’t mean what it once did a few decades ago, prior to the premier of Faux News.

That’s because anyone who is a centrist today is just Grifter who is smart enough NOT to cling with the far right, so they go with the middle to seem more objective.

We need a progressive left, in force, to even think of stopping this fascist regime

Assuming it actually does come to revolution, that revolution is almost certainly going to be led by these up and coming leaders you’ve hastily labeled blue maga. Cuz they’re the ones with supporters.

So IMO if you want a revolution it makes a lot more sense to engage these movements instead of waiting for one that may never appear.

Personally I think revolution or bust is only relatable to people who have experienced severe harm from society. I don’t think things are anywhere even remotely close to bad enough for there to be adequate numbers of people disenfranchised enough to join a popular revolution.

No its not because they are still tied to the governmental structure and power of America and none of them are socialists. Society won’t be changed by small incremental capitalist rewards to the lower classes by people who don’t want to challenge the current system.

Friendly reminder that the whole “blue maga” talking point is russian republican propaganda. They pivoted to blue maga after pushing the fake “walk away” movement didn’t get any traction.
