so i’m writing this because i see a lot of comments removed from this community routinely.
i think we need to talk about fundamentals of what it means to be a human. to be human means to have a soul and to believe in people’s wisdom and willingness to learn and find themselves. this can only happen in an environment where people can make mistakes and not shot down when they make one.
this is a fundamental principle of human existence. i’ve seen troubling tendencies in this community that comments get removed routinely by the moderators, mostly for not fitting the moderator’s views. you have to let people talk. they may be wrong but without discussion there is no development. if you whiplash people’s thoughts, you’re only gonna end up with dogs, and that’s not good.
You can’t have a free discussion with people that are unwilling to learn about the topic on hand. Many liberals are incapable of imagining a system beyond what they know. And if they studied history, they would know that all of the things that they’re attempting to do, have been tried multiple times in the past and have failed multiple times in the past.
