      What’s the likelihood that we could build a net to clean up/catch debris?

      Better for some applications, worse for others. Carbon fiber grades go up in strength but simultaneously also go up in stiffness, meaning they also get worse at handling impacts and flexing. Usually awful for hobbyist carbon fiber projects, only really useful for things like spacecraft and fighter planes.

      20 years ago this would have sounded so exciting, and the doomers would have been declared to “have just seen too many movies”.

      Now its just scary.
