I wish I knew how bad it would have to get before a majority of voters would change their behavior, but we haven’t scraped the bottom of the barrel just yet.
i suspect that multiple generations worth of organized anti-leftists efforts like COINTELPRO have given the american people brainworms that will make that bottom of the barrel go much further than anything we’ve ever seen before.
He who doesn’ vote to realistically oppose the higher evil is outright supporting the higher evil. And is a fool falling for right wing strategy. Vote whichever way avoids a higher evil.

Caused more by people NOT voting. Apathy and refusing to vote for anything that is imperfect, but against pure evil, is the GOP’s and Russia’s effective strategy.
Restricting political action to voting ensures that either way, evil wins.
