Two years out from the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Los Angeles officials say security requirements could displace hundreds of unhoused people living around competition venues during the summer of 2028. But there’s no plan for how those people will be relocated, where they’ll go, or who will pay for it.

It’s solid NPR disinfo how they ask this question in the headline like it’s some mystery… then the answer is clearly NO in the first paragraph.

    You put em on a bus and send them to other cities. It’s what Seattle did before the World Cup.

    Magically a week later and all the usual homeless campsites filled back up.

      I was going to comment the same thing. We happened to be in Seattle during the World Cup and it was starkly different. I think we only saw maybe 2 or 3 homeless people the entire weekend
