They need the heightened attention of internal conflict to mobilise against their perceived enemies. Given that the US Left seems figuratively disarmed, the fascists thus try to carry the conflict to their every doorstep by endless provocation. I don’t think the US Left can do anything to prevent being painted as the initiator of a coming conflict, so I guess they should try to set their own shareable goals apart from stealth, to survive.
Even if you do that, you don’t do it like that: You’re supposed to bully your weakest trade partners into bullying your opponents so that you don’t get dirty, you impatient fuck.
