Doesn’t look like you’ll be affected for that. If I’m understanding the release right, it’s only needed if you’re trying to access age restricted content or to get messages from people you might not know. I use it the way you do, and it doesn’t look like that’s impacted.
I would desperately love for companies to lose big on LLMs. The vast majority of users just don’t seem worth the huge energy costs. I do think there are a number of worthwhile ML applications that could make the world better, but I have little faith that they’ll be allowed to unless they generate big profits.
And one of the reasons why there’s so much more wealth inequality now is what conservatives have done to the tax code. Take a loot at this chart on the highest tax bracket over time.
There was a radio show back in the day that did a segment called “What did Jesse Jackson say.” They’d play a clip of him talking, then people would call in trying to understand/guess what he said (they used official transcripts as the basis). Sometimes they’re go ages with all the guesses being wrong.
