That’s a fair enough assessment of the internet, although I don’t think everyone is evil.
But these techniques, when practiced by paid intelligence operatives, I think generally involve manipulation in the real world.
For example, going into someone’s home when they’re going to be gone for a while and moving things around. Something seemingly innocuous like an item being in an unusual or suggestive place can invoke a fear response in the target if it remains unexplained or is followed by additional incidents.
This could be coupled with targeted information placed in public in places the target is likely to frequent, such as their commute to work.
Targets are discouraged from talking about the incidents by stigma surrounding mental health, and if they get targeted enough it will become difficult for them to distinguish the actual attacks from regular information floating about.
That’s my take on it at least.

Would it be helpful if that had been written into the company’s AoI and server software?

2·4 months agoHey thanks I will certainly add that to my research.
I don’t know about their origins but I suspect the reason the supermarkets are still successful is because the conventional co-op model works pretty well for that type of business. It’s not a problem-solving firm so there’s not a lot of cross-communication between departments and they tend to be small enough that a flat management structure works just fine. Everybody knows the objective is to get products onto the shelves and out the door.
My model is meant to be more general purpose, enabling the firm to solve complex problems that most co-ops don’t take on.

The choice is between totalitarianism or democratic socialism. But we can’t wait any longer because power is being consolidated extremely rapidly. We need to reform our economic systems right the fuck now or we will become nothing but slaves to someone else’s machine.
EDIT: It’s called the “quick exit” or “off ramp” meme if you haven’t seen it before. I took the banner down based on your feedback though, I suppose it is confusing without the bottom half. Thanks
