While it certainly would lower the cost of producing and distributing the games, anyone with half a brain will realize those savings will absolutely not be passed down to the consumer. PC games have been purely digital since the late 2000’s and they have actually gone UP in price.

IMO if a cloud storage company is gonna shut down, they should legally be required to send you the storage device(s) your data is on.

Basically, it was as shit then as Google is currently. Actually, it was still slightly better; at least they acknowledged operator signs in the search (+, -, putting phrases in quotes, etc). Google doesn’t even do that anymore.

I was looking into revanced for it, but it looks like it doesn’t work without ads since January. I’d just get MP3s but I don’t have the storage for that many songs even on my PC, let alone my phone where I usually listen to music.

I had been enjoying premium for about 6 years now without being charged, but they finally tried charging me the other day and, since the card I had on file is 3 years expired, I am back to having friggin’ ads 😩

Not all the different services talk to each other in a way that you can use just 1 account for the entire fediverse. Lemmy, Piefed and Mastodon can all cross communicate (tho afaik Mastodon is one way only-you can post to Lemmy from Mastodon, but not Lemmy to Mastodon); but nome of them communicate with Matrix. So you need at least 2 accounts if you wanted to use all of these services.

Maybe it’s their bot filter thing preventing it from loading?
