Not us, SCOTUS said it.
They have to “develop probable cause” to do more than check your ID but we’ve seen how easy that is over the years. At the end of the day they will make up the probable cause if they need to. But even more importantly this is the authority they’re using to have Border Patrol conduct military style patrols in our cities.

Rights must apply to all persons in the US. Or else the government may assign you to the non rights group at it’s discretion. As an example, you’re a citizen. The government says you are not. You try to go to court to prove it, but oops you don’t have that right. Your family opens a court case, but they either get ruled to not have standing or they get swiftly assigned to the non rights group as well.
Nobody has Rights until Everyone has Rights.

That increasingly means nothing. Remember that judge who was sending kids to reform camps for kickbacks? Part of that scheme was they literally made up charges. If the system says it’s a charge and you need to be punished then that’s what’s going to happen. Juries aren’t even a thing until you get to major felonies anymore so it’s just whatever the judge lets the prosecutor get away with.

That would require the administration’s own people to bring those charges.
And I can already tell you the words you’re going to hear if this makes it to court. “Unlawful Combatant”, a designation we created so we could ignore the rules of war while fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. Trump declared the Venezuelan drug cartels to be terrorists. Now they’re treating them like we treated the Taliban in Afghanistan.
These guys are literally just waiting for the next outrageous thing to push this one out of the news cycle.
And yeah, we’ve been doing airstrikes like this for 20 years.
Yup and then they held snap elections right after. Russia was sore that Ukraine actually supported the pro-EU party and invaded Donbas under the fiction that it was a locally led and staffed rebellion against Kyiv. But there wasn’t enough local support for a rebellion.

Nah, then it just becomes a defacto situation of the content creation companies (Disney, Sony, etc) owning the telecom companies. So you will truly be a single content household, like a Disney Household or a Paramount Household.

Sony wanted mo money. Yo money wasn’t enough for them. So they got a jury to agree that Cox owes them 1 Billion dollars.
Let’s all sing about how much we love Corporate Governance.
Please don’t shut off my internet telecom daddy I’ll drink another Mountain Dew Verification Can!
Ah yes, but with Trump bending over backwards to accommodate Putin the Russians needn’t worry.
The 2014 elections were actually pretty close in those areas. A month later the Russians invaded the Donbas though so there wasn’t any chance to be pro-Ukrainian after that. And then there’s the fact that people tend to not like like invading armies. I’m pretty sure anyone still in the area isn’t a fan of the people shelling them every day.
Also, it’s not a wasteland, it’s actually a pretty strategic area.
Yup
