1264·8 days agoReddit is 80%+ bots so I don’t expect those accounts to shift platforms. But I do imagine some former reddit users will trickle over as it continues to alienate its fanbase with stupid choices like getting rid of old reddit.

13·11 days agoYeah but the real issue is its generally accepted that adults have a decade or 2 of real earning power during which they tend to buy homes and sometimes start families. Once a person ages out of that bracket it becomes real difficult to accomplish those things.
Also worth noting that employers will avoid hiring people over 45 years old because thats the age when health insurance companies feel a person becomes more of a risk than an asset to them.

16·11 days agoStill “delaying” all those age critical milestones. Can we start “delaying” CEO profits and windfalls for a while?

They use to make wax coated paper cups which was a step better. Also used to wrap candy in paper instead of plastic sleeves. Oh and all soda came in glass.
