People in New York have been protesting Israel’s actions for a couple years now - and getting arrested for it, losing their degrees, worked from university, kicked out of the country, some went to jail. Yet somehow Mamdani checking the actual wording on the laws vs how they’re currently being applied is going to be bad? No. Absolutely the only reason you’re posting this bullshit is because he’s a progressive, and you’re trying to stir up shit.

I’m just going to copy over my exact same reply, from where you posted this exact same bullshit in the other thread:

You are being deliberately misleading. The article says she upholds the right to protest:

“the right to say those things is protected by the First Amendment, and the NYPD must uphold that right.”

And apologizes that it was difficult for people to get into and out of the building:

“Our other job that night was to ensure that people could easily enter and leave shul. That is where we fell short. And for that, I apologize to this congregation.”

Funny how you talked about pro palestinians getting arrested for protesting land theft and genocide and when the other user mentionned that it happened under Tisch, you are like whatever I will believe her justifications and excuses
