I always thought they weren’t going to do it.
Most probably think it’s just a temporary Trump thing and no way will this be bad for us in the long term.
And it’s cyclical - we don’t have our own tech because it never gets developed because there’s no need for it since we’re using US tech, trapping us in this dependency.
