Jacob is joined by Quinns (People Make Games, Quinns Quest) to discuss Brenda Romero's board game "Train" and other attempts at gamifying historical traumas.
This was a really great discussion. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of Dog Eat Dog; what an incredible piece of art.
I do think Train has this issue of framing: the perpetrators of the holocost did know. So a player of Train is definitely not in the position they were in; they don’t get a sense of what that was like, which is what the author seems to have intended.
