New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez is accusing the US Justice Department of withholding access to unredacted files related to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, arguing that the lack of cooperation is preventing the state from bringing justice to survivors.
“Every day that the USDOJ withholds these records, the foundation upon which a New Mexico prosecution could be built erodes,” Torrez wrote in a scathing letter to Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche on June 30 that was publicly released on Thursday.
“Witnesses relocate and become unreachable. Memories, already strained by years of trauma, fade further. Physical and documentary evidence degrades, is lost, or is rendered more difficult to authenticate with the passage of time,” Torrez added.

Well they dug up all the gravesites on the ranch and any bodies in them had been moved, so case closed. plus the state didnt make sex trafficcing a crime until 2008 and the crimes only started being investigated in 2019 with a 10 year statue of limitation, so I guess that sex trafficcing is past its statutes of limitations-- so no crime occurred. Again, case closed. And the Israeli ambassador would like to know who is going to clean up the damage incurred on the property by all these searches. I assume the US government will pay them our tax money for the damages.

I hate this life
Trafficking is just one component of the crimes committed, so I don’t see how you can come the conclusion that “no crime occurred.” I’m as cynical as the next guy, but you’re really reaching here.
Sorry man, I was being sarcastic.
You have to /s now because everything has become absurd
