Lawyers for the preservation group accused the White House of trying to “outrun the courts” by accelerating construction.

    And Roberts said “on it”.

But Biden couldn’t pay off student loans because…?

Because it might actually improve someone’s life, and not just make insanely wealthy people more insanely wealthy.

Because he’s part of the reason they’re not dischargeable in bankruptcy in the first place.

Because he’s not progressive and came up with an insanely complex idea that failed rather than exercise the power given to the president by Congress to forgive any and all student loans at will.

No, he did try to do that. He just set the payment point super far in the future so the Supreme Court had plenty of time to block it. Because they’re also just conservative tools who will rule based on their personal political preferences rather than the law.

He didn’t do it well, but Biden (presumably after considerable lobbying by progressives) did at least try to exercise that power that was given to him explicitly by law. The SC just made up a new doctrine to say “the text of the law doesn’t matter if we feel like it”.

The Supreme Court is “allowing” it? They’ve been paid off or blackmailed into doing a degenerates bidding. “Allow” indeed.

Of course. Roberts has to do what his real employers (the ones paying the big bribes) want.

Trump needs it to be complete before the 2028 election. That’s his bunker and he will hole up there, forcing us to extract him.

I’d be OK with just putting concrete around the entrance/exits instead.

Yet they haven’t even started on the 3-sided shack where Uncle Cletus whittles his toenails for $500 per photo. You just know it’s Biden’s fault.
