Capitalism is a means of production and distribution of goods on basis of supply, demand, and availability of capital (currency) which foundationally employs the use of private ownership.

I really don’t like everyone screeching about “capitalist societal structures” when we have real serious problems like the rise of authoritarianism across the world, an ever smaller group of people’s wealth dwarfing the rest of the planet’s combined wealth, climate change, etc.

Rather than come up with some new never-tried-before system that will magically materialize when we tear down current systems of law, we should be trying something more sensible and easily palatable to the majority like promoting true democracy and taxing the rich.

“Legitimate law enforcement operations”, and I’m putting extra emphasis on the word legitimate, have a specific target with a warrant for their arrest by a judge or district attorney in the jurisdiction of the operation. They follow the laws themselves and give proper rights to the apprehended individual such as contact with their lawyer, habeas corpus, holding time limitations, etc.

That’s not what ICE does. ICE are a bunch of criminal thugs going after anyone and everyone. Some of them can barely read or write, and they’re going out shooting people to death in the streets.

I don’t want anybody to get an infection from fucking my corpse, they’re going to have to sterilize me to have my corpse fucking permission.

I would like you to deny that you would enjoy history repeating itself, if that is the case.

I see a lot of people comparing this to Iraq but I need to illustrate that Bush, Cheney, and the CIA worked hard to present (inaccurate) intel of aluminium tubes to US Congress, NATO, and the UN.

That doesn’t compare in the slightest to Trump’s reckless disregard for laws, democracy, diplomacy, or human life. This is actually a much worse start than Iraq, so far.
